E Mail Marketing List
A high percentage of emails sent in an email marketing campaign are never even opened by the targeted audience. There is also a problem if the emails end up in spam, get bounced, or are reported as abusive. There may also be a problem of immediate unsubscription if your email is not properly done.
Now let's say you have found your target audience for your great product or service. A successful mass mailing can now be done via the internet, or so you might think. Now you are aiming high, thinking that the emails you sent out will generate a lot of business.
Perhaps you are right, but the implementation is critical. Actually, just typing in a few names, adding a line or two about your product and hitting the send key will not get you the desired result. Despite having done research and having found a target audience, this just does not work. First of all, typing in those names can be quite a chore, and you can make mistakes. You will want to use a software program to important your contact list. The software you use should be able to sort your contacts and data any want you need it to. You will want to take advantage of the feedback you receive to compile and manage multiple contact lists.
You may think you are ready to get started once your mailing list is in order. There is, however, more to be done because most email programs cannot hide the fact that an email has been generated by a mass mailing program. The result: your carefully constructed email may very well end up in the spam or as trash. To make sure this does not happen, you need to use software that is white listed with major ISPs. In addition, your software of choice needs to address permission-based policies, authentication requirements and a host of regulations that must be adhered to before your email will be received. If you ignore this, your email will not be received.
Now, how about the message itself? It needs to look professional. A WYSIWIG HTML editor is the standard choice for making sure all your recipients will read your mail. It might even be a good idea to use a template that has been professionally designed as the basis for your correspondence. You will also want to be able to upload your own designs or modify one of these templates.
You will want any new visitors to your website to be able to sign up for opt-in promotions. Your recipients should also be able to choose exactly what information you do and do not send them in the future.
Now you have sent your messages. Those who have visited your website have made some selections, and you need to take advantage of this information. There is much more to this than simply counting up those who purchased and those who did not. A successful marketing campaign includes analyzing detailed statistics including email opens, links clicked, forwards, unsubscribes, and soft and hard bounces. Your future campaigns rely on it.
Never send bulk emails through your office computer and always use white-listed, hosted email marketing software. Choose software that works for you to dramatically increase your success rate. I've researched over fifty companies and recommend just one. You can find it at MaxiMails.
